Homecoming

This year for homecoming we played the Whiteford Bobcats. My week was fun because everyone was dressed up funny looking. I participated in some of the dress up days but not the ones like animal print day. I liked the mini floats because ours was NBA 2K12, and it had something to do with basketball. This year was the first year that we had the mini floats, and we got first place! The pep assembly was fun because the varsity teams for winter sports got to play the games. I think that Nick got the king because he plays sports and he is a very good student.

Valentine's Day

I think that every year the candy and card companies blow everything out of porportion becasue it is just another day to buy things for the people you love. I think that if you truly love that one person then you should treat them good all the time. I do think we should have this as a holiday because we can have great memories from it. If you don't have a special someone in your life then you should treat yourself to something that you would go to on a date.

When I was in elementary I remember when everyone brought in cards and candy so everyone felt special. I liked to recieve things from everyone not just one person.

Super Bowl!!

Last night was Super Bowl 46, and the Giants beat the Patriots again, just like they did four years ago. The Patriots led the whole game until the fourth quarter when the Giants quarterback , Eli Manning, decided to make a fourth quarter comeback to beat the Pats again. The whole game it was back and forth, it was a good game, but the second half the Patriots lost momentum and fell head over heals. It was a very low scoring game for a Super Bowl.

Photography

My understanding of photography is that you take a camera, point it at something you want to take a picture of, then you click the button so it will take the picture. I know that there is a lot of things that go into professional photography, and I would like to know some of these things so I can be better at taking pictures. My experience with photography so far is pretty good.

Exams

 This year was the second year that i had taken exams. I think that when I took them in eighth grade at Adrian I did better, but this year I think I did alright. I think that exams shouldn't be manditory because everyone is not wanting to go to college. The people that want to go to college should be able to take the exams for practice.                                                                                                                                                             

My baskteball season...

This year my basketball season has gone pretty good. We have won some good games and lost some good games, that we should have won. I have started every game because I am one of the five best on our team. This year I think we will win more than ten games because the second time that we play teams we should be able to beat them if we play to our pottential. We turned the basketball team from a losing season to a winning season.

Winter Break

Over Christmas slash winter break my grandparents came up from South Carolina, and they stayed with my family for a week. They usually leave before my birthday which is the 28th, but this year they stayed until after my birthday because I was turning sixteen. We also got to hangout with our cousins and their family, we went over to their housefor dinner, and opened the presents they got us.
